Nebosh - Registering for the Examination |

Registration for the examination must be made on the appropriate form, which is available from OPITO (not from NEBOSH). The examination fee and closing date for registration are shown on the form. Registration forms, together with full payment of the registration fee, should be received at NEBOSH by the closing date. Faxed registration forms are only accepted with a credit card payment. Late entry fees apply to registrations received up to 7 days, and between 7 and 14 days, after the closing date. OPITO will normally provide facilities for their candidates to take the examination.
The closing dates for registration for ‘national’ examinations are as follows:
March examination 15 January
June examination 15 April
September examination 15 July
December examination 15 October
OPITO may charge candidates a separate fee for the practical assessment although the cost will normally be included within the course fee. External candidates (see External Candidates) will be charged a fee by OPITO to cover administration, invigilation and the practical assessment. Referred candidates who are re-taking one or two components of the examination will be liable to an administration/ invigilation fee payable to the examination centre and a registration fee payable to NEBOSH. A reduced registration fee applies to those re-taking just one component.
