Nebosh - Entry Criteria |

There are no formal requirements for entry to the NEBOSH National General Certificate programme. However, the examination includes a requirement to write a short report and candidates with limited experience of report writing will, therefore, require additional training in this skill if they are to complete the practical assessment successfully. In addition, many candidates may not have been involved in study for some time and will require training and practice in both study and examination techniques.
OPITO may need to interview prospective candidates or ask them to complete a short test to demonstrate their skills of written communication. This will help tutors to advise applicants whether their standard of written communication is likely to be sufficient to enable them to meet the requirements of the written examination and to write a report in the practical assessment.
