OPITO – The Oil & Gas Academy is now an MoD approved provider of courses using Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC), giving forces and ex-forces personnel the opportunity to study courses related to the oil and gas industry.

How-To 

To claim money for a course using your ELC, you must visit the ELCAS Website and download the Claim Form. This form must be fully completed except for sections 4 and 5, before submitting to a member of Education Staff at least 25 days before the course starts, along with:

• Proof of last day of service
• Information about the course, including proof of level of qualification
• Copy of utility bill, showing home address
• Copy of driving licence or passport
• Daytime telephone number.

Claimants must obtain a Claims Authorisation Note (CAN) from ELCAS BEFORE committing to the course.
